Standard Stars: Ccd Observations, Mk Classification
Scientific paper
The authors present CCD spectra of 125 MK standards covering the spectral types from O to M and luminosity classes from V to I. The set of spectra forms a reference frame for two-dimensional spectral classification. The wavelength coverage is extended to the yellow-red region, and the criteria suitable for stellar classification in this region are shown and presented. The spectra and criteria described here are useful for stellar classification work with similar spectral resolution. All stellar spectra are in electronic form, which is available for anybody in need of them.
