CCD photometry in three fields of the very metal-poor galactic globular cluster M30 is presented, covering a region 1arcmin ≤ r ≤ 6arcmin from the cluster center. Evidence has been found for a radial variation of the ratio of horizontal branch stars to red giants, confirming previous results given in the literature. Present data allow a comparison of the CMD of M30 with the CMDs of other metal-poor clusters with CCD photometry reaching main sequence stars. An almost complete superposition of all the evolutionary loci was found among M30, M15, M92 and NGC 6397, strongly supporting the assumption of common evolutionary parameters for all these clusters.
