At the end of July, 1987, by using the 1 m telescope and CCD equipment
of the Yunnan Observatory, astrometric observations of minor planet
(1566) Icarus were made. 18 accurate positions were obtained. The O-C
values were calculated by comparing the observed positions with those
computed from osculating orbital elements.
