Measure a photometric standard star field in Omega Cen in 50CCD mode once per year to monitor CCD sensitivity over the whole field of view. Keep the spacecraft orientation within a suitable range {+/- 5 degrees} to keep the same stars in the same part of the CCD for every measurement. This test will give a direct transformation of the 50CCD magnitudes to the Johnson-Cousins system for red sources. These transformations should be accurate to 1%. The stability of these transformations will be measured to the sub-percent level. These observations also provide a check of the astrometric and PSF stability of the instrument over its full field of view.
