The third edition of the Catalogue of UBV data and MK types for stars in galactic open clusters contains the UBV photoelectric data (23812 entries, for 16087 stars) and MK classifications (6640 types, for 4068 stars) published up to mid-1986, for 295 open clusters. More than 3200 lines of remarks provide cross-identification with the catalogues of double and variable stars and information on binarity, variability and other types of peculiarity or characteristics.
