Galaxy Catalogs

Scientific paper

The catalog of isolated galaxies is defined on the basis of the Palomar Sky Survey. It contains 1051 isolated galaxies with apparent magnitudes brighter than 15.7 and north of declination -3{deg}.
Compared to the original version published in 1973 (Comm. Special Astrophys. Obs. of USSR, No. 8), new data about the morphological types, the isolation class, and the radial velocities have been added. The catalog includes running numbers for the galaxies, equatorial coordinates, isolation classes, apparent magnitudes, morphological types, major axes, axial ratios, and radial velocities.
