We report our full sample of cataclysmic variables discovered in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 1 (SDSS DR1). Colors and positions have been determined for these objects through SDSS photometry. Line characteristics from SDSS spectroscopy have allowed us to identify geometric traits of these systems and take steps towards classifying them. Using SDSS we are able to observe some of the oldest systems in our Galaxy, low accretion close binaries overlooked in previous brighter-limit surveys. In particular, we discuss two rare, highly magnetic systems displaying extreme cyclotron humps.
