2732 Magnetosphere Interactions With Satellites And Rings
Scientific paper
Cassini magnetometer observations from 3 flybys of Enceladus earlier this year revealed the existence of an exotic and dynamic atmosphere at this icy satellite. Comparisons will be made with these observations and those from recent close flybys of a number of the other icy satellites. A wake encounter of Tethys at 1500km, a close wake encounter of 500km at Hyperion, an upstream 500km Dione flyby and a 500km wake encounter with Rhea will be described.
