Scientific paper

This paper describes the lunar structure named the "washbowl" by H. P.
Wilkins & P. A. Moore, observing on 1952 April 3. This double
crater in Cassini A is the result of an impact by a double meteorite,
gravitationally bound so as to strike at the same time. An explanation
for Wilkins' observation of a `minute pit' is given.
