CASA is a suite of tools for radio data calibration and imaging with an iPython interface.
It is freely available to the general community, and is being
developed with the primary goal of supporting the data post-processing needs of the next generation of radio astronomical telescopes such as the Atacama Large Millimeter Array and the Expanded Very Large Array. The 3.0 release (December 2009) is the first non-beta one, and has several new features which will be highlighted. The consortium of developers is led by the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, and includes the European Southern Observatory, the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, ASTRON, and the Australia Telescope National Facility.
