Since molecules seem to be associated with regions of dust and gas, a program was initiated of CO mapping observations of 100 microns sources that were detected in the several airborne surveys in order to study the temperature, optical depth, and excitation conditions in these sources. The first sources to be mapped were HFE 2, 9, 10, and 11 and FJM 3. CO was found at or near all the 100 microns sources (with the exception of HFE 10 and 11), and the sources appear to be associated with small dark clouds.
