New high-resolution, high signal-to-noise ratio spectra of several subgiant CH stars have been analyzed for the abundances of carbon and oxygen and for the carbon isotope ratios. The carbon-to-oxygen ratio is less than or equal to unity in all stars. The C-12/C-13 isotope ratio is greater than 40 in most of the stars. The heavy element abundances are shown to be fairly consistent with results of other studies. The evolutionary state of the subgiant CH stars is discussed in light of these new abundance results.
