The motion of a satellite in the gravitational field of an axisymmetric planet is considered. Point motion in a Barrar force field in the presence of perturbations is examined on the basis of equations of perturbed motion in canonical action-angle variables. The Kolmogoroff theorem is used to study point motion in the presence of conservative perturbations; the hessian of the unperturbed Hamiltonian function corresponding to the Barrar problem is examined.
