The advent of large (≥8m) telescopes, along with the new breed of mid-IR instrumentation, has opened a new window to diffraction-limited polarimetry. CanariCam, nearing completion at the University of Florida for the 10m GranTeCan, offers for the first time in the mid-IR, a dual-beam polarimetry mode. We discuss the design of CanariCam and the expected performance.
