The nucleosynthesis calculations of Audouze and Fricke (1973) for the implosion-explosion phase of a spherically symmetric supermassive star (520,000 solar masses) are extended to include the production of lighter nuclei, specifically Li-7. The present calculations are based on the assumption that a certain mass fraction of He-3 survives at the beginning of the implosion-explosion process. The stellar model is described together with qualitative considerations which lead to the provisional conclusion that fractional zones 2 through 4 in the stellar model are the best candidates for Li-7 production. The numerical results confirm this conclusion and show that Li-7 may be produced if the He-3 mass fraction is not less than 0.000005. Limiting values of the He-3 mass fraction are estimated for the production of O-17 and C-13, and differences between the present results and those of Audouze and Fricke are briefly discussed.
