The Borexino calibration source insertion system, although ridged, is not designed to externally register the position of the source accurately. To allow this design feature an independent system is needed to accurately locate the source. It consists of 6 digital still image cameras that will be able to simultaneously take pictures of an LED on the calibration source. These pictures will then be analyzed to find the calibration source coordinates. This talk will describe the system's hardware and software, and real and simulated pictures from the system will be shown. Other applications of the system, such as vessel filling and positioning, will also be discussed.
