In this paper a short review of methods of measuring the absolute flux of cosmic radio sources is given. Also, results of such measurements are discussed. The widely used flux scales and recently published results are considered. The list of radio sources suitable for calibration and measurements of large antennas together with their parameters is presented and an absolute flux scale at 127 MHz is included.
