The atomic parameters for the dielectronic satellites of the Mg XII resonance lines 1s-2p, 1s-3p, and 1s-4p are recalculated, using a multiple-configuration intermediate coupling scheme. The effect of cascades from higher excited levels on the satellite level population is examined, and a cascade correction for the ratio of satellite relative intensity to the resonance line intensity is proposed.
