The appearance of a supernova outburst in a circumstellar dust envelope is studied. Spectra of emergent radiation at various stages of the supernova flash are constructed. The influence of the envelope existence on the probability of supernova detection is estimated. For a mass-loss rate at the supergiant stage of M= 10-3 M_sun;/yr the probability to detect the flash decreases by more than an order of magnitude.
