Pulse profiles are calculated for different frequencies on the basis of the polar cap model under the assumption that radiation of the given frequency is generated at a fixed level in the pulsar magnetosphere. For two pulsars (PSR 0525 and PSR 1133), comparison of the calculated and observed profiles leads to an estimate of the energy of the emitting electrons and the position of the line of sight relative to the axis of the radiation cone.
