The energy and angle characteristics of the albedo muon flux is calculated for the 20-50-km altitude region for geomagnetic cutoff rigidities of 1, 4.5, and 15 GV. The calculation indicates that the degree of the flux anisotropy increases sharply with increasing muon energy, while the flux magnitude is comparable with that of the direct-albedo proton flux at energies greater than 200 MeV.
