In the present paper, some characteristics of the hadron component are calculated on the basis of the scaling model. The model employed is based on extrapolating the parameters of an elementary event from energies on the order of 1 TeV to energies of 10,000 TeV. The sensitivity of the characteristics of hadron families to the elementary-event model and to the chemical composition of primary cosmic rays is identified.
