A Monte Carlo analysis is carried out for groups of atmospheric
electron-photon cascades produced by nuclear and atmospheric processes,
as a means of verifying the sensitivity of the experiment to
elementary-event models. The longitudinal and transverse characteristics
of a group of cascades are compared for two interaction models.
