In the present paper, the Cerenkov radiant emittance spectra are
calculated on the basis of some phenomenological characteristics of
extensive air showers, using a power-law representation of the
cosmic-ray energy spectrum. The results are found to correlate well with
those obtained by the Monte Carlo method.
