Preliminary results from our spectroscopic survey of populous clusters in the LMC are presented. In an effort to update previous metallicity determinations, we have utilized FORS2 (in MOS mode) on the VLT to observe the Calcium II Triplet (CaT) for a sample of 850 stars in 29 LMC clusters and their surrounding fields. Summed equivalent widths of the CaT lines are then used to determine [Fe/H] for the target clusters. This work represents the first spectroscopic metallicity determination for a significant number of these clusters.
