The authors studied in detail the properties of the Ca II K emission line profile in a flare atmosphere with the existence of turbulent velocity fields. The results show that (1) the intensity and shape of the emergent line profile depend strongly on the parameters of the turbulent field, (2) when the correlation length and the turbulent velocity are large enough, the theoretical profile has no central reversal, which can match the observed result, and (3) the profile in meso-turbulent fields can not be fitted by that in micro- and macro-turbulent approximations. These results will be useful in semi-empirical model calculations and spectral analyses of solar flares.
