The CTIO 4 m prime focus CCD system has been used to determine a color-magnitude diagram for the distant stellar system in Eridanus (C0422-213). The diagram confirms that this system is a distant globular cluster similar in nature to such systems as Pal 3 and Pal 4. From the magnitude of the horizontal-branch stars, a distance modulus of 19.55 is derived placing the cluster in the outer halo, 84 kpc from the Galactic center. The C-M diagram reveals a red horizontal branch, as is apparently the norm for outer halo clusters, while the giant branch parameters (B-V)o,g and Delta V1.4 suggest Fe/H = -1.35 + or - 0.2 for the cluster. Thus C0422-213 joins Pal 14 as an intermediate metal abundance cluster in the outer Galactic halo.
