We present the results of C, N, and O abundance analysis in the atmospheres of 7 CP magnetic (Si) and nonmagnetic (Hg-Mn) stars. The visible lines of CII, NII, and OI were used for the analysis. The mean C and O abundances are nearly solar, with a significant dispersion from star to star, while N is overabundant in the atmospheres of all magnetic stars. This result does not agree with that of other works, where the authors obtained a deficiency of C, N, and O elements by using lines of neutral C, N, and O in the infrared. Possible reasons for such a discrepancy are discussed.
