Results are presented of observations of the isolated dark cloud L1489 in the (C-13)O emission line. The size of the L1489 was estimated to be 10 arcmin x 18 arcmin, and the mass to be 29 solar masses. The (C-13)O map is elongated in the north-south direction with an axial ratio of 0.5. This morphology is similar to the C(O-18) map obtained by Myers et al. (1991), while the smaller size NH3 and CS maps were found not as elongated as in the C(O-18) map.
