We present results of (C-12)O (J = 1-0) mapping of NGC 3310, which is a merger candidate with both a mildly active galactic nucleus and intense circumnuclear star-forming regions. The observations have been made with the Nobeyama Millimeter-wave Array. The synthesized beam size is 6.3 x 6.1 arcsec half-power beam width which corresponds to 500 pc x 480 pc at the distance 16.3 Mpc. The molecular gas shows clumpy distribution and is associated with the inner spiral arms. No CO emission, however, has been detected in the nuclear region. The total H2 mass of the molecular gas is 2.7 x 10 x 8 solar masses. Combining our results with other data, we discuss the properties of molecular clouds and the star-forming history around the nucleus of NGC 3310.
