A one-arcmin region surrounding Zeta Oph has been mapped in (C-12)O (J=2-1) and (J=1-0) with full sampling at angular resolutions of 12 arcsec and 23 arcsec, respectively. It is found that the CO emission comes from two components at V(LSR) = -0.8 and 0.4 km/s, with temperatures (on the scale defined by Kutner and Ulich, 1981) of 1.6 and 0.7 K, respectively, for the J=1-0 line. The density structure of these components is examined.
