A large scale survey of a dark cloud complex in the vicinity of IC5146 has been made in the (C-12)O(J = 1 - 0) and (C-13)O(J = 1 - 0) emission lines. Five CO clouds and fifteen (C-13)O clumps are identified, and physical parameters such as mass, a temperature, density of H2 molecules are derived for each clump. Total molecular mass of the dark cloud complex is estimated to be about 4500 solar masses by assuming LTE, about 50 percent larger than that of the Taurus complex. The clumps are found to be nearly in virial equilibrium. There are 18 candidates for the young stellar objects in the region, and 13 of them are concentrated into two (C-13)O clouds. Most active star formation is found in the most massive member of the complex having molecular mass of about 2200 solar masses. The cloud consists of two (C-13)O clumps, whose masses are about 1000 solar masses, respectively, and is associated with six candidates for the young stellar objects.
