Observations of BX And during five nights in 1976 are presented which include four times of minimum light for the eclipse portions of the light curves. The intrinsic color indices suggest that BX And is in the F3-F5 spectral range. The location of BX And on the Eggen (1967) period-color diagram supports the suggestion that the binary system consists of an F-type primary component and a K-type secondary component in a state of shallow contact.
