Disk Galaxies: Galactic Bulges, Morphology: Galactic Bulges

Scientific paper

The purpose of the present study is to draw some insights on the origin
of triaxial bulges by analyzing the frequency distribution of bulge
types among disk galaxies. To do this, the author has conducted VI CCD
photometry of 68 bright disk galaxies using recently installed BOAO
(Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory) 1.8 m Doyak Telescope.
