Exoplanets, Aperture Photometry
Scientific paper
We describe the procedures and criteria used to define the list of the 2×256 templates which will be used as photometric apertures for the 2×6000 target stars per observed field of the exoplanet channel of the CoRoT mission. The selection is based on the optimisation of the signal to noise ratio. Specific classes of targets can be selected through some astrophysical parameter (e.g; visual magnitude) and favored by the user. This procedure produces sets of template with very good quality compliant with the scientific requirements.
