We present the work done in the framework of the EuroVO Data Centre Alliance project to allow the Data Centres to take full advantage of the grid computational and storage resources in particular the ones offered by the EGEE-II infrastructure.
We present the objectives and the first goals of our activity. We describe the approach adopted for bridging distributed computing facilities with data services, and vice-versa, within the Virtual Observatory standards.
