A detailed study of the bremsstrahlung gamma ray emission from the galactic disk is presented. It is shown that there are large uncertainities in the production spectrum of photons of energy 10 to 70 MeV, due to lack of knowledge of the interstellar electron spectrum. Expectations of results from future observations of gamma rays in that energy range are discussed.
