The main issue of this paper is to give some highlights about the Brazilian Microgravity Program. It will show the Program goals, how the Program is technically supported, its activities and perspectives, also showing some primary flight and experimental results, focused on the sounding rockets segment of the Program. Furthermore, some aspects of international partnerships and cooperation inherent to the Program and the sounding rocket resources will be briefly mentioned. Last but not least, this paper will display some characteristics of operational Brazilian and "Brazilian/German" sounding rockets for microgravity missions.
