The hedgehog algorithm suggests that either some Apollo seismic travel time data are in error or a high velocity lid exists at a depth of 60 km in the moon. Three models were used as a starting point in a search for a range of models which would fit the data within the accuracy of the experiment. Anomalous data at 1,000 km can be interpreted as a combination of tunneled waves and head waves.
