The velocity dispersion of 9 +/- 2 km s(-1) for the dwarf spheroidal galaxy Draco has been used to point to a large central mass density of 0.1 - 1 M_&sun; pc(-3) and a large dark matter halo. We offer a different dark matter model. The velocity and surface brightness profile can be fitted by a massive blackhole that has grown to a mass of 1 - 2 times 10(6) M_&sun; over a period less than the relaxation time of the system. Such a large blackhole would have inflated the original velocities by a factor of three to four and created a distinctive velocity cusp in close to the center.
