This paper considers the exact Bianchi type-VIII and type-IX
cosmological models of the locally-rotationally-symmetric type in the
Lyttle-Bondi universe, which represent the most general nonflat models.
An equation is derived which expresses the anisotropic expansion of the
universe with time.
