Large-scale bending instability of the elliptical stellar disks constructed by Freeman as models of the bars in SB galaxies is studied. The condition of stability with respect to perturbations of this type, as well as to bar-like perturbations, imposes constraints on the values of the global parameters (shape and global dynamical characteristic) of nonaxisymmetric stellar systems with strong flattening. An intersection of the bending stability regions found here with the well-known region of bar-like stability is shown.
