Reticon spectra of the O I triplet at 7772 - 7775 Å are analyzed
in 67 non-peculiar B to F stars. The dependence of the equivalent width
of the triplet on luminosity, but also on other atmospheric parameters
is examined; predicted intensities are compared with the observed ones
and the effects of microturbulence and NLTE are discussed.
