Emissions of several gamma-ray lines and hard X-rays, associated with a solar flare on April 27, 1981, were observed. The observation of the gamma-ray line emissions of energy 2.223 MeV indicates that an enormous number of neutrons were produced due to the interaction of high-energy nuclei accelerated in the flare with background atoms in the photosphere in the flare region or its neighboring region. However, it seems that most of these accelerated nuclei were confined for a long time in the acceleration region and never released into outer space, since there is no evidence on the arrival of these nuclei at the earth's orbit, despite the fact that the flare location on the sun was favorable for them to reach the earth.
