Scientific paper

The physical properties of Be stars are summarized and recent progress
on the study of Be circumstellar materials, especially the new dynamical
disk models of Be stars are reviewed. In addition, the study of Be/X-ray
binary system is also reviewed and the focus is taken on the interaction
between the compact stars and the Be envelopes.
