Gamma emission are usually hard to detect since faint sources are mixed with strong instrumental background components. In such a context, precise imaging in the gamma energy range is a challeng- ing problem. In this paper, a Bayesian approach is used to produce high resolution maps for both point sources and diffuse emission. This method is com- pared with standard imaging techniques (SPIROS and Richardson-Lucy) and used to map the 511 keV line emission in the center of the Galaxy.
