A Fourier-transform spectrometer operating with a resolution of 0.06/cm was utilized in obtaining transmission spectra of heated water vapor at 300-1000 K in the spectral range of 3000-4500/cm over a range of optical depths from 0.4 to 20.3 atm-cm. These high-resolution spectra were degraded to 25/cm bandpass transmittances and reduced to band-model parameters assuming a combined Lorentz-Doppler model. Comparisons are made with other sources of band-model data, as well as line-by-line spectral calculations.
