Observations of the B0924+30 radio source made at 14 GHz and 0.6 GHz with the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope are discussed. Three compact radio components are present, lying well outside the region of extended emission. The compact components are aligned with the inner part of the S-shaped extended source. There is no strong evidence of bridge connection between the components. The probability of chance occurrence of such an alignment is estimated to be one in 100,000. The probability calculations are based on several a priori justifications: alignments between compact components and the nucleus of the galaxy in Cyg A, DA240 are less than or equal to 1.5 deg; other compact components related to the parent galaxy lie within the angle subtended by the extended component; the median intensity ratio for normal double sources is 1.4.
