Scientific paper

B and V photoelectric magnitudes have been obtained during the years 1976 to 1978 of the spectrum-variable supergiant HR 8752, which was found to vary by more than 0.2 mag in brightness and by ≡0.1 in B-V. Significant brightness changes occur on time-scales of tens of days and possibly on shorter time-scales still. No clear relationship between photometric changes and spectral changes is discernible.
