The space-time processes that take place in a Fabry-Perot interferometer
containing a complex, optically nonlinear medium have been studied. A
realization of such an interferometer based on a
metal-insulator-semiconductor-(liquid crystal) structure and a
corresponding mathematical model are discussed.
